Step 1. Open the Windows Device Manager like so:

Step 2. Uninstall ALL previous versions of the display driver, making sure to "Delete the driver software for this device" - you may have to repeat this step several times to remove previous versions of the driver (This must be done because Windows will think the current drivers installed are better or newer than the ones from, and won't install them). After you delete a driver, Windows will install one from it's cache of drivers, and you need to check to make sure it's the default Windows driver or one from Windows Update before it will allow you to install drivers. Repeat this process until the option to "Delete the driver software for this device" is no longer displayed, or when it's using a default driver. (***RESULTS WILL VERY***)

Step 3. After all previous versions of the driver have been deleted, you can proceed with the installion of a driver from using the Windows Device Manager option "Update Driver Software."

Step 4. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software."

Step 5. Extract the drivers from the RAR or ZIP using WinRAR or you favorite archive utility, and direct Windows to the folder location you extracted them to. Choose the correct folder for your type of Windows (XP/2003 or Vista/7/2008, and 32-bit(x86) or 64-bit(AMD64)) and click "next."

If you didn't complete Step 2 properly, the driver will not install and you will get this message:
